It’s an exhausting job to be the visionary of your show and have to act every day and write at night or on the weekend, and Jenni being such a strong writing partner makes that show possible. – Jeff Sneider 5. DAVID HAYES Entertainment Evangelist, Tumblr Prior to joining Tumblr, David Hayes worked at Lionsgate, where he was instrumental in the success of “The Hunger Games,” overseeing the film’s digital marketing campaign. His emphasis on steadily building online word of mouth through social media and consistent streams of new photos and information helped propel the film to more than $600 million at the global box office and cement it as Hollywood’s next huge franchise.

Hollywood Park: Rosengold breezes for Tsunami Slew Stakes
Photograph: Allstar/Touchstone/Sportsphoto Ltd Last week’s NSA leaks scandal had a scary side-story: a poll found that many Americans were not that worried about the degree of access the agency apparently now has to their digital lives. Perhaps it is because “precrime”, a sci-fi concept of some vintage, is now real. Hollywood has been softening us up for this for years now, accustoming us to the notion that our spending habits, our location, our every movement and conversation, are visible to others whose motives we cannot know.

Bring on a Hollywood-style disaster for the blockbuster film
Others hope so. What could be healthier for the cinema ecosystem than a good old mass extinction? A disaster to end all disaster movies?

TMZ reported Saturday that the 19-year-old singer and his protectors were at a Hollywood hookah lounge when someone approached him to take a photo. A “scuffle” erupted when one of Bieber’s bodyguards tried to stop the person — apparently not a paparazzo — from snapping a picture. The police have opened a misdemeanor battery case investigating the incident. Earlier this week in Miami, Bieber’s entourage was implicated in three different altercations over having his picture taken. In one recorded incident , the singer can be heard shouting, “Grab that camera!!! Get that f***ing camera out of here!!!” In another scuffle, one of Bieber’s bodyguards was accused of choking a photographer.

Other than Hugh Grant, Paul Walker from the Fast and Furious films, and Jesse Palmer of The Bachelor fame, Montreal’s hot spot restaurants saw few Hollywood stars this year. Rather, the restaurants rollicked and raged thanks to athletes and race-car drivers and, of course, corporate clients galore. At Buonanotte on Saturday night, Magnums of vodka were everywhere along with raised seafood platters with lobster heads, as companies like Playboy and Red Bull entertained top clients.
